CSEM works with many patient and disease advocacy groups to help further our mission of advocating for excellence in endocrinology research, education, and patient care.
CSEM partners with Diabetes Canada to host the annual “Diabetes Canada/CSEM Professional Conference, and we support ongoing advocacy efforts.
CSEM has endorsed the Canadian Adult Obesity Clinical Practice Guidelines and is a member of the Canadian Obesity Advocacy Network, supporting advocacy efforts.
CSEM has endorsed CARES’ Emergency Medical Services Protocols for Adrenal Insufficiency.
CSEM has endorsed the CAS’s Patient Emergency Medical Information Cards. Contact CSEM to receive copies of the cards that you can distribute to patients. Sample Wallet Cards for Adrenal Suppression have also been posted through the Canadian Paediatric Society website.
CSEM partners with the International Coalition of Organizations Supporting Endocrine Patients (ICOSEP) every year on September 20th to motivate the world to check on children’s growth. See ICOSEP’s video here.
